Nightlife in Playa de las Americas

Tenerife and particularly Playa de Las Americas is famous for its buzzing nightlife. Popular with young British holidaymakers it is busy all year round.

Playa de las Americas is literally packed with bars and clubs with something to suit all tastes. There are far too many bars to try in one holiday but it you are looking for somewhere to start here are our favourites.

Rooftop bar on Veronica's strip is a great place to start the night. A well-known pre club bar this place has fantastic drinks offers. The music may be on the cheesy side but the great location and view allowing you to soak up the fantastic atmosphere make it a popular choice.

One of the oldest and best known las Americas clubs is Tramps. While the club itself may be small the atmosphere is fantastic and it still attracts big named DJ's such as Judge Jules. Worth a look if dance music is your thing. Although the recent addition of a hip-hop room mean the place now has broader appeal.

Sound of Cream on Veronica's strip has become famous not just in Playa de las Americas but world wide with a huge dance floor and outside chill out area. This place comes alive at midnight and closes at dawn!

Situated at the Starco Centre in las Americas Rays is open form 8pm till 6 am playing a good mix of mainstream dance music and RnB. Always popular is a good place for dancing and drinks offers.

Another well-known nightspot is Linekers bar. This sports themed club plays a great mix of music and has the added benefit of an outside terrace for those wanting to escape for a quiet drink.

Brannigan's has become popular with lovers of Rock and Indi. The venue may be small but the music makes up for it and the nightly drinking games are fun to watch.
