Los Cristianos

Los Cristianos is a charming area of Tenerife that used to be a quaint fishing village.

If you look closely you will still see traces of this despite the new high-rise hotels and tourist shops. Los Cristianos resort is a nice place to wander around and soak up the Canarian vibe as much of it is pedestrianised including the sea front and the beautiful old town. This area contains loads of shops, restaurants and bars. The focal point is a plaza with an attractive white church. One of the best things about the rersort is the wonderful Los Cristianos beach. Here you can relax and enjoy the Tenerife sun, even in the winter! For a change the stunning Adeje beach is also close by.
Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas are listed as separate resorts and have different atmospheres although actually they merge together.

Camel Park- The desert like landscape of south Tenerife is the perfect location for a relaxing camel ride. Crafts and other attractions are also on offer here.
